Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an outgoing, friendly front office administrative assistant to join the Lowell Corporation team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is responsible for receiving incoming calls and visitors as well as the seamless operation of order entry into Macola ES. This role is half customer service and half administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with a high attention to detail, able to multi-task and manage their time independently to meet all of their job responsibilities. Regular hours 8-5 Monday-Friday. Full benefits including 11 holidays, sick/personal time, and paid vacation time along with health, life and disability insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Perform multiple tasks necessary to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders
  • Collaborate with sales department in providing quality customer service
  • Verify customer orders over telephone and enter data into the computer using Macola ES
  • Process incoming telephone customer orders and transfer to account managers as needed for quoting and specific inquiries
  • Answer customer calls and transfer as appropriate throughout the company
  • Assist in all areas of administrative data entry, receptionist duties, and file organization
  • Assist Accounting Manager with accounting activities as needed
  • Monitor the front door and greet visitors. Direct visitors to the appropriate staff member
  • Provide outstanding customer service and administrative support to staff
  • Print out shipping labels every day for production
  • Assist the executive assistant with miscellaneous tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full competency with MS Office & windows computers
  • Familiarity with the order entry process
  • Experience with secretarial work / customer service
  • Background experience with manufacturing is a plus
