Lowell Corp has a rich history and has been in business for over 100 years. Founded in 1869, we have been a leading innovator in the field of ratchet technology as well as a leading manufacturer of high quality industrial and utility hand tools and manual machine components. Our tools are 100% made in the U.S.A. and have provided years of trouble-free service.

On most manual jobs, whether it be manual or machine-operated, there is a turning point between inefficiency and efficiency. During manual labor, sometimes a problem arises and there’s no special tool readily available to handle it, causing workers to compromise by using tools that were not designed for the job. During machine operation, poor design may hinder efficient operation, causing the operator to work around their machine’s weak points.

Since our start as the Lowell Wrench Company in 1869, we have grown to be a leading American manufacturer of ratchet technology.
